35 experts from 15 European countries representing a dozen "Small People" such as the Aromanians, the Frisians, Sorbs, etc. meet at Müstair, in the Canton of Grison/Switzerland.

Convivenza is organising a seminar for small, autochthonous peoples without their own state from October 21 to 23 2021 in Müstair, Canton of Grisons, Switzerland.

The seminar is held under the patronage of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe as well as co-sponsored by the Swiss Federal Government and the Cantonal Government of Grisons.

The seminar is a follow-up seminar to the first meeting on the small peoples in October 2015 in Scuol, where over 40 international participants adopted a joint recommendation for good governance (Scuol recommendation).

In collaboration with EURAC Research based in Bozen/Bolzano (It) the Convivenza Foundation is conducting a survey with over 20 small peoples without their own state in Europe. The  goal of the study is a general assessment of the situation of the minorities and should identify proven strategies for preserving linguistic and cultural identity as well as point out deficits and urgent needs that are essential for survival. The questionnaires have been evaluated. The evaluation can be downloaded here:
